Babbel – Learn Spanish App Reviews

I took a few spanish classes in university and have had little opportunity to practice since. There are all sorts of courses offered and there are refresher courses for people like me after which you can move on to more advanced modules including business, world politics, etc. It is not only for students wishing to learn how to order a beer in an all inclusive resort. I strongly recommend it.

U have to pay money to get all of the lessons I wont bother downloading it

This is a great way to learn language. They teach you on so many different fun ways. I use it every day.

Cant get past lesson one. My Spanish pronunciation is really good but it wont let me move on.

Im having a rough time trying to remember verb conjugations in the Spanish lessons. I like the review but why cant i practice conjugations at all? I also really hate how verbs are introduced. Somehow youre just expected to conjugate by knowing something. Seems this could be find better

Ive given them many feedback to improve and fix the problems, but they dont seem like they care.

Would be very useful if we could select the keyboard type (qwerty instead of azerty for instance). Also would be nice if the app could detect typos when we enter text (other apps can do it).

Although I enjoy the program I find the voice recognition very glitchy and not very helpful. There is no rating to tell if you are getting closer or further away from correct pronunciation. Got very frustrated being stuck at a word that I have no idea what Im missing. In there was a setting that allowed you to set your voice type might be improved. I think Ill go with Rosetta Stone it at least rates my pronunciation allowing me to improve

I will visit Spain this summer for the first time in 26 years and need to "relearn" my Spanish ( 26 years ago I was pretty fluent ). This application is fantastic. I have bought the beginners course for six months and started right at the beginning. I am listening and repeating the authentic Spanish accents and can already feel my command of Spanish is returning. After this summer I might well tackle a brand new language from Babbel.....its a lot of fun!

I really love the way the app is built, very good structure and a lot of exercises, but i would use any other app for just one reason - subscription. I would rather pay 10$ or even more for an app and use it when i have time or wish to learn than force myself to study just knowing that i am running out of time with subscription. It is not cheap as well. All in all it is a great app but just not for occasional learners.

The most thought-through language learning app. Tried alot of them for learning Spanish, this one is the best.

This app really make u learn and remember spanish. Its not only teach u but makes u repeat ur knowledge up to 3 time Weaks: no written lessons

Ive never thought that learning Spanish can be so easy and efficient! This app allows me to learn Spanish even on my way home!

I took first subscribe for a month and then resubscribed for three next month. Finally got 1 year plan and glad to continue! Its easy to learn everyday, even without internet connection. Very helpful manner with switching from one type of exercise to another. You dont get bored and I think its the most important thing. Now I am watching Spanish TV show with subtitles in Spanish and my native language feeling that I can understand many things without them, and my level is rising. One thing that Babbel dont have is modul for learning by heart Spanish irregular verbs. If they have it I would give 5 stars.

Very easy going learning. I learn Spanish from scratch and very enjoy the process. Also i like small trick in progress. After a while you started understand much more than just words in training.

Good app for every day training with you: in underground, cafes etc.

I really like the app. The method of learning Spanish is so simple. Rules are short and given when its needed. Many exercises are made to develop listening and speaking skills. Thank you, guys, for the great job!
